Hi

Is there any dependency of AD LDS on network during installation and configuration?

I am using AD LDS for user authentication on a standalone machine which may or may not be connected to network at the time of ADLDS installation and configuration (creating instance and loading LDF files).

In the deployment environment when network cable is removed and AD LDS is installed and loading LDF file, my login authentication seems to be failing.

try sysinternals adinsight.exe to see what happens on the wire. well there is no wire but it can give you some clues.
